MasterChef viewers all have the same complaint as they slam BBC One cooking show
MASTERCHEF viewers all have the same the complaint as they slammed the BBC One cooking show.
Gregg Wallace and John Torode were back on screens on Thursday as the competition continued.
The four remaining celebrities, who were Dani Dyer, James Buckley, Marcus Brigstocke and Mica Ven, were split into two teams.
The celebrities are tasked with cooking a crowd-pleasing dish which must be identical in both appearance and flavour.
However, only one team member has the basic instructions of how to cook the dish and needs to communicate with their teammate to get the job done.
But it seemed viewers at home were more distracted by trying to guess who the famous four were.
They took to social media to slam the BBC as the said this year’s cast weren’t famous enough.
One raged: “Time to watch “celebrity” MasterChef (never heard of any of them).”
A second wrote: “Cue the endless tweets about the BBC’s idea of what a celebrity is.”
“Celebrity is a very loose term #CelebrityMasterChef,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “What is the definition of a celebrity?”
The episode ended has judges Gregg and John had to choose either James or Mica to leave the competition.
After tasting both their dishes, the two chefs decided to send Mica home.
MasterChef continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
