A Place in the Sun star BEGS BBC bosses for spot on Strictly – and issues stern warning to husband about curse
A PLACE in the Sun's Jasmine Harman begged BBC bosses for a chance to appear on hit show Strictly Come Dancing.
The presenter revealed that she 'doesn't believe in the show's curse' and has the full support of her husband if she took part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The 47-year-old star recently stated that she would love to participate in the BBC ballroom show and has pleaded to Strictly Come Dancing producers.
The Strictly Curse is a phenomenon that allegedly hits contestants of the show and their partners once they take part, usually resulting in them breaking up.
The TV star has been the longest-serving Channel 4 property show presenter. In an interview, she recently sat down with and opened up about her love for dancing and body positivity.
The plea to Strictly bosses came after her husband of fourteen years, Jon Boast, gave her the thumbs waltz across the ballroom.

During the interview, Jasmine said, "My kids would never forgive my husband if daddy said, "Mummy can't go on Strictly" - they would disown him.
She continued: "I would be well up for doing Strictly because I've got serious rhythm.
"It would show a completely different side of my personality and I would love the challenge of it."
Jasmine admitted that she 'genuinely thinks she's a good dancer' although she has never had a single lesson.'

The mother of two admitted she watched the show as a child, which inspired her.
She said: "When I was a little girl, I used to watch Come Dancing and I loved it.
"And I used to think "I want to be one of those dancers" and my dad would switch off the telly and say "why are you watching this rubbish?
"But I would definitely be up for it if the challenge ever came up."
She added: "I like going to Zumba classes and really enjoy that kind of exercise."
When asked about the Strictly curse, the star replied: 'I don't know if that curse is a real thing or just an excuse.
"It just depends on that person's situation and if there are cracks in somebody's relationship, it may just accelerate it."
She also revealed that she suffered with her body image and was actively taking slimming tablets and fad diets to keep her weight the same.
Motherhood encouraged Jasmine to love herself, and in a recent Instagram video, she was seen wearing a black and white swimming suit while filming for A Place in the Sun with the Channel 4 camera crew.
During the video, she advised her followers to love and embrace themselves, as she had only started doing so recently.
Jasmine explained in the interview: "My crew were just snapping away loads of pictures while we were doing our thing, and it all looked super glamorous on our yacht, it was like living the dream.
"One of the guys sent me pictures he took from behind and I was like, "Oh my god, delete immediately.
"But when I looked at the pictures I uploaded I thought, "this isn't me, this looked too polished."
She continued, "I never thought I'd share one of those photos that I was going to delete.
"I thought, "S*d it, I don't actually care, I'm at the stage of my life where I don't have to prove anything to anyone apart from myself.
"So I just figured this is all very glamorous but it didn't feel very authentic to me, my life is not always as it appears and that's why I decided to post that picture.
"It was just a spur of the moment decision, but I had a lot of positive feedback from people who said, "Thanks for keeping it real" and showing the other side of the glamorous life of a television presenter."
The media personality also spoke on her plans to launch a collection with clothing company Cotton Traders that will help boost hers and others confidence further.
"Every item I've worn makes you feel great, I feel comfortable, and I feel confident - and that's because they fit me properly.

"Clothes are there to serve you, not the other way round. They should flatter you, and that's what these designs do."
