BBC’s The Traitors star bags shock role in major soap after finding fame as a Faithful
THE Traitors star Maddy Smedley has landed a role on Hollyoaks.
The 30-year-old, who gained a huge fanbase as a Faithful, will play a talent agent called Faye Fuller on the Channel 4 soap.
“She’s a bit more brutal than me in real life. She’s like Del Boy mixed with Deborah Meaden.”
Maddy went on to reveal she was star struck working with real life couple Owen Warner and Jemma.

She said: “When you think, ‘Oh my God, I know you from Hollyoaks and I’m A Celeb’ – that was a bit daunting. But they act like normal humans.
“I used to watch [Hollyoaks] and talk about it with friends before school started. I wonder what little me would be thinking now.”
Clips of Maddy's acting past recently resurfaced after she spoke about her time in hit BBC shows EastEnders and Casualty on the show.
In Casualty, Maddy can be seen playing a teaching assistant who was born without a womb but a desire to have children.
Maddy, who appeared on the very first series of show, revealed she is pregnant with her first child earlier this year.
She announced the news she was expecting with her partner Tom on social media with a sweet post.
The 30-year-old took to Twitter and said: "Got some news, wanna scream it from the roof tops! Beyond excited to meet you
"PS we’re waving back x."
Maddy made it to the final week of The Traitors before she was taken out of the game in shocking scenes.
