Inside Kelvin Fletcher’s surprise 40th party for wife Liz with Emmerdale co-stars and funfair on their farm
KELVIN Fletcher threw an incredible surprise 40th birthday party for wife Liz - transforming their farm into a festival.
The Emmerdale star, 39, managed to keep the party a secret from his wife as he organised fairground games and a 100ft inflatable assault course.
Kelvin and Liz were joined by his co-stars including Chris Bisson, who plays Jai Sharma in the soap.
Speaking to about the day, Liz - who shares Marnie, seven, Milo, four, and twins Maximus and Mateusz, 15 months, with Kelvin - said: "I had no idea.
"To see all these faces I know, it was the most overwhelming feeling - complete joy."
Guests tucked into pizza, lamb tacos, wine and gin while kids were kept entertained with games like tin can alley to win cuddly toys.

Speaking about keeping it all a secret from his wife, Kelvin said: "I'd tell Liz I was checking on the sheep - but my excuses were getting thinner and thinner."
He sent Liz on a spa weekend beforehand, and she added: "It was planned that my friend would have me back for a certain time.
"Luckily they told me we were having a meal with the ITV production crew otherwise I would've been in my jogging pants with no make-up."
