Celebrity MasterChef fans can’t believe Dave Benson Phillips’ age as they claim presenter ‘hasn’t changed in 30 years’
MASTERCHEF viewers were all saying the same thing about presenter Dave Benson Phillips' appearance on the BBC One cooking show.
Gregg Wallace and John Torode were back on screens on Wednesday as Season 18 of Celebrity MasterChef kicked off.
Dave, 58, was joined by four other celebrities The Wanted singer Max George, radio broadcaster Remi Burgz, comedian Shazia Mirza and broadcaster Terry Christian.
The celebrities were asked to go all out in crafting their two dinner party courses.
Dave's decision not to use sauce in his pan-fried salmon, kale and potatoes proved costly.
The judges sent him home in favour of Remi, who had also struggled with her salmon.

"It's a little bit sad, but in light of what I cooked, yeah, I can understand why I'm going home," Dave said, joking that he'd be watching the rest of the series at home "with a takeaway".
However, viewers were distracted during the episode after learning Dave's real age.
Taking to social media, fans couldn't resist pointing out his youthful appearance, despite being 58-years-old.
One said: "Dave Benson Phillips, hasn't seemed to have aged much in the last thirty or so years since I've seen him!"
