BBC reveals acclaimed comedy is returning to screens in just two weeks’ time after rave reviews
MORE than a year has passed since Rose Matafeo's romcom was last aired on our screens.
Luckily for fans, the New Zealand comedian announced the upcoming release of a third series of Starstruck - and it's soon.
The latest season of Starstruck debuted in February, 2022, with Rose's character Jessie parting ways with Nikesh Patel's (also seen in Hulu's Four Weddings and a Funeral and Indian Summers on Channel 4) alter ego Tom.
BBC viewers have since been keen to know what life will bring to the 28-year-old as she continues to navigate through adulthood.
They'll surely be pleased to know they will only have to wait a handful of weeks until they can find out as the third series of the critically acclaimed program will air later this month.
Starstruck will be back in weekly double bills from 10pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 on .

BBC One viewers will be able to catch up at 10pm on Friday, September 1, 2023.
The third series of the show will also be dropped on on its premiere date of August 28, where the first two series of Starstruck have received over 8.2 million requests so far.
Fans of the program will be surprised to be thrown into a time jump as the third season is set two years after the last series and Jessie's breakup with Tom.
Adapting to a new single life, Jessie also faces the consequences of her choices and her friends move on to the next stages of their lives.

But while many are welcoming new changes into their routines, Jessie is seemingly stuck in her own rut as she is still living in London and working at the local cinema.
Joining Rose Matafeo in the line-up will be Minnie Driver (Modern Love, Good Will Hunting) who reprises her role as Tom’s agent Cath.
The Starstruck cast will also be welcoming John Simm (Life on Mars, Doctor Who) - but what kind of news will he bring to Jessie?
Is all hope really lost for her relationship with Tom?
How will Jessie cope with the pressures of her life?
