I was on Love Island – now I’m launching a completely different career away from fame after realising my ‘calling’

LOVE Island star Malin Andersson has revealed she’s launching a brand-new career away from the fame game.

The mum became a fan favourite when she was cast in the 2016 line-up of the ITV2 series.

Malin, 30, took to Instagram last night and explained how she had found her calling to become a life coach.

She said: “As many of you know I’ve gone through a lot of trauma, I’ve been in abusive relationships, I’ve lost a child, I faced a lot of grief, I’ve had eating disorders, and I have just felt like I have had no purpose for the majority of my teens and twenties.

“I want you all to know I found my way through I discovered healing, empowerment, and I want you all to do the same.

“I’ve created a one of a kind life coaching service exclusive for women. I get thousands and thousands of messages all the time asking for advice on certain things.

“I literally woke up one day and was like, I can do this. I can help other people. Instagram, social media, isn’t enough for me. I want to help spread the word even more and get close and personal.

Malin shot to fame in 2015 on Love Island and lasted 24 days in the villa.

The beauty had a brief romance with Terry Walsh but he quickly moved on with Emma Woodhams.

She gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Tom Kemp seven weeks early in January 2019.

Weeks later she shared her heartbreak after the death of her daughter Consy.

She was named in tribute to Malin’s late mother, who had died in November 2017.

In 2020 Kemp was jailed for ten months after she accused him of physical and mental abuse in shocking Instagram posts.

Malin posted harrowing photos showing off gruesome bruises on her body after the abuse but did not name Kemp.

She revealed how the abuse began with “love bombing”, where the victim is showered with gifts and compliments.

But she told how the relationship soured when the thug began to mentally abuse her by fixating on her insecurities – calling her “ugly”, “fat” and “worthless”.

In February 2022 the reality star revealed she had given birth to her daughter Xaya.
