Freddie Slater consumed with guilt over shock betrayal in EastEnders
BOBBY Beale was hopeful for a romantic connection with Anna Knight but this was compromised by Cindy Beale's return to Walford.
Moreover, the EastEnders lad has no idea his pal Freddie Slater may have sabotaged his chances and feels immense guilt next week.
Anna Knight (portrayed by Molly Rainford) rocked up Albert Square alongside her sister Gina and father George.
Upon her initial arrival, she caught the eyes of friends Bobby Beale and Freddie Slater (respectively played by Clay Milner Russell and Bobby Brazier).
Bobby was the first to be able to explore his romantic potential with Anna but, unfortunately, Cindy Beale's explosive return to Walford seems to have turned things sour between them.
Shocked and disoriented, Anna sought comfort by sleeping with Bobby's best pal Freddie in recent scenes of the BBC One program.

Coming up next week, Freddie struggles with his guilt about Anna, but there is clearly a spark between the pair.
Later on, Freddie confides in Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who convinces him to keep it secret for Bobby's sake.
Meanwhile, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) tries to mend things between Bobby and Anna, but Freddie quickly makes his excuses and sits separately, consumed by guilt for sleeping with Anna.
In later scenes, Alfie is discussing his concerns for Bobby and Anna's budding relationship during a heart-to-heart conversation with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), Bobby's father.

This leads Alfie to reveal all about her one-night stand with Freddie.
Ian agrees to keep it a secret, but after George Knight (Colin Salmon) belittles him in front of potential business partner Nish Panesar in The Vic, things get out of control.
A resentful Ian blurts out the news in front of Bobby and Cindy (Michelle Collins), unaware she's watching.
