I have never had an orgasm because I didn’t know how, women need better sex education, says Love Island’s Yewande Biala
SHE’S a qualified scientist but since shooting to fame on Love Island in 2019, Yewande Biala has been exploring chemistry of a different kind.
The Irish star, who worked in the pharmaceutical trade, is baring all on her new show in the name of orgasms – because she’d never had one.
She said: “It’s such a defining moment when you are a teen learning about sex in school, and sex education teaches about male orgasms but not about female ones.
“I am hoping there’s a woman watching who works for the Government who thinks that what I’ve done is interesting and pushes doing more in the school curriculum.
“It’s not like I am campaigning. I’m just an ordinary girl who at 26 has never had an orgasm. The programme is just my journey.”
Secrets Of The Female Orgasm airs on Thursday at 10pm on Channel 4.

Rose: I’d love to join Ben
HAVING starred in Bafta- nominated BBC comedy Starstruck and co-hosted Pointless with Alexander Armstrong, comedian Rose Matafeo is now desperate to appear in the celebrity version of ITV game show Tipping Point.
She said: “I fell in love with Tipping Point and its host Ben Shephard during lockdown, when I would watch it avidly with my grandmother, Jessie.
“Ben came to a recording of Taskmaster when I was a contestant on that show and I was, well, completely starstruck.
“So my dream would be to appear on the celebrity version of Tipping Point, Lucky Stars.

Pride of Corrie
THE Coronation Street cast cracked out their glad rags to celebrate Pride at the weekend.
The ITV soap always goes to town to support its local event in Manchester.
And this year, stars including Jodie Prenger, who plays Glenda Shuttleworth, and Dolly-Rose Campbell (Gemma Winter) took to the streets to join in the parade.
Jane Hazlegrove (Bernie Winter) got in on the act, too, wearing fun specs and earrings.
It came after a Corrie special episode saw Paul Foreman, played by Peter Ash, bring real-life drag queens KY Kelly, Bobbie Twaddle and Liquorice Black to the Rovers Return.
It’s the sort of positivity we need more of in our soaps.
VIRGIN’S attempt to launch a rocket into orbit looked glamorous in last night’s A Very British Space Launch on C4 – but viewers were spared the pages of risk assessment.
Ex-head of SpacePort Cornwall Melissa Quinn revealed: “There were over 200 pages to read. It took a lot of hard work.”
Eamonn funeral tribute
EAMONN HOLMES may have left This Morning under a cloud and remained critical of ITV, but it sounds like he’s still close with his former co-hosts.
Alison Hammond has revealed that the former presenter attended the funeral of her mum Maria, who was “obsessed” with him.
Chatting to ex-MP and presenter Gyles Brandreth on his new Rosebud podcast, out on Friday , Alison says: “We gave her the most beautiful funeral. Even Eamonn Holmes came to that, actually.
“He did a speech, because my mum was obsessed with Eamonn Holmes and I asked him if he’d come.
“He did a speech, came to the funeral, which was lovely.”
