Corrie star Samia Longchambon praised for revealing ‘real holiday’ in very honest post about disaster-hit family getaway
CORONATION Street star Samia Longchambon has had praise heaped on her as she got candid about his disaster-filled trip.
What was meant to be a sun-soaked family getaway for the ITV actress turned into a nightmare as she confirmed she had battled her way through delayed flights, a tornado, her bank card being stolen as well as a sickness bug all within the space of a few days.
It left Samia and her family, including Dancing on Ice pro hubby Sylvain Longchambon, bombarded with unexpected issues and facing up to the "reality" of the trip.
Alongside a selection of photos from the trip, Samia opened up about many of the woes she was forced to deal with as well as opening up on the importance of sharing the reality of her holiday abroad and not pretending that it did not happen.
Showing off her incredibly toned figure in a stunning black two-piece, Samia wrote on Instagram: "Our holiday in Mallorca consisted of.. flight delays (there and back ), stolen bank card, a tornado, and I had a bit of a bug for the first few days."
"BUT We managed to get there and back safely, I got my stolen money back from my bank, we stayed safe in the storm and we got to spend time in the sun, see friends and eat lovely food."

She then added: "Home now and there’s no place I’d rather be!"
The Coronation Street star - who has played the role of Maria since 2000 - went onto explain to her adoring fans why she felt it important to reveal the details of his disaster-ridden holiday and not pretend that it was all "perfect".
Samia revealed: "I know I could’ve just put some caption about holidays been amazing (which they are obviously), but I feel like we get enough of people ‘living their best lives’ on here without showing the reality sometimes.
"Hope you’ve all had a lovely summer break and to those people affected by the flight delays… I feel you!"
