Love Island’s Maura Higgins & Faye Winter in huge backstage bust-up at NTAs over ‘thrown shoe’ and have to be separated

LOVE Island legends Maura Higgins and Faye Winter were spotted having an explosive backstage bust-up at the National Television Awards last night.

A number of onlookers saw the pair having a heated exchange, which lasted over an hour and was captured in our exclusive video.

Irish beauty Maura, 32, and Faye, 28, were seen pointing fingers at each other at the booze-fuelled afterparty, before a pal was forced to intervene to calm things down.

The row was said to be over a pair of shoes, with one source alleging that Faye threw her shoes at Maura earlier on in the night, which prompted an upset reaction from the Irish star.

One partygoer overheard Maura saying: "Starting on you...don't point your finger at me."

The pair were seen rowing at the bar in front of a number of guests at the star-studded party at the 02 Arena in Greenwich.

Guests saw Faye pointing her finger in Maura's face, resulting in Maura furiously batting her hand away.

The two stars were spotted looking irate while they had a back and forth barney.

Maura, who was dressed in a black cut-out dress, looked stony-faced after Faye accused her of starting on her over a pair of shoes.

A male friend was then forced to step in after they failed to resolve their feud, begging the girls to pack it in.

He could be heard saying: "Girls, girls. Why are you fighting? This has been going on for an hour now. Stop it, stop it."

Maura could then be heard relaying the conversation to her friend and branding Faye a "silly cow".

One guest heard Maura saying: "She's f******* embarrassing.

"I went 'what do you mean by that', I went 'don't you ever do that to me you silly cow. Don't you ever speak to me like that.'"

Maura then tried to order a pinot noir but was refused a drink because the bar had closed and was instead handed a glass of water.

She responded: "What the f***, do we not get last orders?"

Faye and Maura went their separate ways, with TV presenter Maura being ushered away by her mate.

She was pictured stumbling and looking worse for wear as she exited the bash.

One onlooker said: "Maura looked furious with Faye - the pair were arguing quite loudly and in front of loads of people.

"It was quite embarrassing and they were at it for ages."

Another attendee noted: "Maura and Faye looked a bit worse for wear and were rowing for most of the evening.

"They seemed to be really p***** off at each other.

"It looks like there may be more that meets the eye and they seem to have some ongoing feud."

Maura and Faye's reps have been contacted for comment.
