Hannah is following in the footsteps of her former S Club co-star Rachel Stevens, who appeared on the series last year.

A source said: “Hannah is raring to go for Dancing On Ice and is working hard in training.

“Things have been tough with Hannah over the past 12 months and she hopes that appearing on the show will give her a much needed boost.

“Hannah is a seasoned performer and a great dancer so there is a good chance that she could go far in the series, as long as she nails the skating.”

Hannah pulled out of S Club’s reunion earlier this year, not long after the death of her bandmate Paul Cattermole.

It was later claimed she was “pushed out” and felt “betrayed” by the group’s decision to move forward without her, which those close to her said she wasn’t told about.

An insider told The Sun: “Hannah is devastated.

“She was pushed out, and doesn’t understand why. The rest of S Club has been told not to contact her.”

But insiders claimed that Hannah was “binned” following a series of bust-ups with bosses working for the band’s creator Simon Fuller.

The Sun’s source said: “The rest of the band signed their contracts to go on tour in the blink of an eye and said Yes to everything.

“For various reasons, Hannah took her time and pushed back on a few details. Suddenly, without her knowledge, S Club’s comeback was launched without her.

“The announcement was made on social media, and she knew nothing about it. It was incredibly hurtful.”
