MY Mum Your Dad viewers have been left sobbing after listening to widower Roger open up about his late wife's death.
The brand new dating show kicked off on Monday night but fans found themselves in tears amid all the fun and frolics.
Single dad Roger was seen going on a 'date' with single mum Caroline at the £8million retreat and he ended up recalling the moment his wife Jo passed away.
As his tearful daughter Jess looked on via hidden cameras, Roger explained that they had been in a relationship for 37 years before she died.
Roger said: "[My wife] had breast cancer about three or four years ago and she got over that and we thought, 'Brilliant'.
"And then we were on holiday in Italy and I just looked behind her ear and it was irritating her. Just a little spot behind her ear.

"I said, 'You need to get that checked, Jo, when we get back'. And she did and she got seen to really quick.
"And it was melanoma. She didn't know at that time that the cancer had gone to her brain."
Recalling the moment his wife passed away, he continued: "She said, 'I'm very tired'. I said, 'Come on, I'll put you to bed or do you want to go on the settee?'
"She said, 'Put me on the settee'. And then I came in about half an hour later and obviously I should have just phoned for an ambulance straight away.

"She basically never woke up again."
While Roger's tragic love story brought a tear to Caroline's eye, viewers at home were also left crying.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one said: "I am crying my eyes out. I wasn’t prepared for this show to do this to me. Wow."
Another added: "Roger has my whole heart! How has he got me tearing up."
A third penned: "Roger is breaking my heart."
And someone else admitted: "I’m in tears, that man is the sweetest ever bless him."
Eight singletons aged between 44 and 58 have entered the retreat after being nominated for My Mum Your Dad by their grown up kids.
The mums and dads have been revealed as Roger and Caroline, along with Natalie, Monique, Paul, Sharon, Clayton, and Elliot.
In the opening episode, host Davina McCall was seen telling the 'kids' they could watch what their parents will be up to on hidden cameras.
Davina then entered the retreat, located in West Sussex, and told the gang to pair up for a series of dates - all while their offspring looked on.
Speaking about the show, host Davina previously told The Sun: “It was like a dream come true to walk into an entertainment TV show, on prime time ITV, and see my people, a bunch of mid-lifers.
“They all look really cool, they’re really good fun, culturally sort of set at the same place in life, like we all understand each other.
“We’ve all been through that second-time-round love.
“I wanted to see midlife as represented in terms of dating because this second time around thing often happens in your forties or fifties, where you’ve got children . . . life is complicated.
“But more than ever, you feel you are at a point in your life where you deserve to find love, they deserve to spend the rest of their lives with somebody.”
