Adam Thomas reveals Strictly has already sparked a row with his wife
ENROLLING in Strictly has already sparked rows at home for Adam Thomas.
The Waterloo Road actor revealed that his wife is a dance teacher - but hasn’t shared any of her knowledge.
Adam said: “She’s a dance teacher. But no, she’s not given me any tips.
“We literally had this argument the other day because I was like, ‘Why have you not taught me how to dance after all these years I’ve been with you?’ And she was like, ‘Well, you’ve never taught me how to act.’
“I was like, ‘Yeah, very good point actually!’”
Adam’s casting has ruffled feathers with his famous brothers, Ryan and Scott, too.

Ryan is best known for his time as Corrie’s Jason Grimshaw whilst Scott shot to fame on Love Island.
Asked if they were feeling jealous, Adam laughed: “I think so, yeah. They’re more jealous about me getting a spray tan, if I’m being honest with you!
“But no, for me and my brothers, when I get a job, or when they get a job, we’re all so happy for each other. It’s amazing, we all go on that little journey together. They’ll be cheering me on.”
Adam’s Strictly journey began with a setback as he was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

But he feels in safe hands with Strictly’s physio team.
He added: “I’ve been through physio with the guys, they know what I can and cannot do.
“I’m just going to have to take it easy, and hopefully it’ll hold up. But right now, I’m in no pain.
“We’ll see on the lifts.. I’m going to try my hardest, but look, it is going to set me back a little bit. I’m just going to try my best.”
Adam is loved by fans of Emmerdale after years as Adam Barton on the ITV soap.
He’s also appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! And went on to host its spin-off Extra Camp alongside Joel Dommett and Scarlett Moffatt.
On signing up, he said: "I am so excited, I've been such a big fan of the show for years, I can't believe I'm actually doing it!
"I can't dance to save my life but I'm buzzing to learn and have a good laugh with my pro.Get me on that dance floor ... I can't wait!"
