LOVE Your Garden viewers broke down in tears as ITV announced a star of the show had died.
The hit gardening programme returned to screens this evening with Alan Titchmarsh at the helm.
He was joined by his DIY team who were ready to makeover gardens of deserving members of the public.
During the episode Love Your Garden viewers were introduced to 96-year-old war veteran Gordon.
His back garden was in serious need of TLC so Alan and the team got straight to work.
Alan's vision for the disused space was a classic English country backyard with raised beds.
