The technology risk partner, who is half-English and half-Irish, opened up exclusively to The Sun about her trickiest Married At First Sight moments.

When quizzed about if she had contemplated walking out of the E4 romantic experiment, she told us: "Yes, on the honeymoon.

"You’ve got the judgement of others as well, I’m a girly girl, I like to hear my girl's opinions and if a girl says one thing and you start to question it and say ‘does he do that? am I not seeing it, am I being blinded?’

"I never thought I’d love again, never, never.

"Not saying I’m in love now, I never thought I would trust a man again and I was quite happy to be single for the rest of my life after being cheated on after an eight-year-relationship, I didn’t want a man in my life again – just my dad and my dog.

"But it does make you believe that there is love out there."

Talking of her experiences on the show, she told how she was open to the experience.

Peggy, who has picked up the nickname Picky Peggy among her pals, told us: "I was tested by my partner for sure but I think every relationship goes through tests and I think that’s how you learn about each other and as long as you can compromise, it’s a learning process for all of us.

";I think you learn a lot about yourself throughout the process.

"That’s the challenging thing, people see a different person at the dinner parties, to who you might see behind closed doors."

Prior to entering the show, she told how she is more than ready for her knight in shining armour, and she will not stop until she gets what she wants.

She shared: "I want that lover and someone who can also be my best friend."
