Fans of The One Show took note of her striking striped jumpsuit

Alex, 46, flaunted her bob hairstyle as she sizzled in a striped jumpsuit with puffy sleeves.

The turquoise and white number stood out whilst she welcomed the likes of former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain onto the show.

As she crossed her legs, she accentuated the red panelling on the bottom half of the jumpsuit which was complimented by matching heels.

Singer Jake Shears and actress and writer Rebecca Lucy Taylor were also interviewed by the pair as they promoted their new show.

However, it seems that viewers were more interested in Alex’s ensemble than the content of the show.

Fans of The One Show took to social media in their droves as they compared her look with the BBC children’s staple Andy Pandy.

The character was best known for wearing blue and white striped pyjamas and viewers let their thoughts be known on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One viewer said: “Have I missed #WorldBookDay or did Alex Jones dress as #AndyPandy.”

A second noted: “Alex Jones rocking the, ‘Andy Pandy’ look. #theoneshow.”

“Andy Pandy making a comeback tonight #TheOneShow,” alongside a laughing sweat emoji,” joked a third.

Other watchers had another comparison as they compared her look with another household essential.

One viewer noted: “Sorry Alex… but you reminded me of a tube of toothpaste tonight #TheOneShow.”

A second wrote: #Theoneshow alex looking very .. fresh,” as they also posted a picture of striped toothpaste being placed on a brush out of the tube.
