Jack Whitehall dad-shamed after fans spot ‘issue’ in video of him dancing with newborn
JACK Whitehall has been criticised by social media fans after he posted a video with his newborn baby.
The comedian, 35, welcomed his first child with partner, Roxy Horner, just last week – but has already raised eyebrows with his parenting antics.
Jack took to social media to share an adorable clip where he was seen dancing to the band Westlife whilst holding his baby girl.
The actor appeared to be swaying back and forth whilst cradling his newborn in front of him.
Jack seemed to be in his element as he sported casual clothes and attempted to master the art of rocking a baby to sleep.
He penned in the caption: “When the only thing to stop her crying is to dance with her to Westlife.”
But fans were quick to point out an issue with the clip.
One wrote: “Probably got motion sickness.”
Another added: “Don’t drop her ffs.”
“This post makes me very uneasy,” chimed in a third.
A fourth said: “For god sake don’t drop her.”
A fifth exclaimed: “He’s making me sweat as he’s not holding her very safely- sorry I know I’m being a Karen.”
“She’ll be terrified you’re going to drop her – that’s why she’s stopped crying. She’s on high alert,” explained another.
Others didn’t seem to have any concern though, with one fan gushing: “Absolutely love this.”
A second commented: “Just the start of a lifetime of dancing with her, nothing beats the joy of dancing with your kids.”
Recently Jack shared the very first snaps of his newborn baby in the hospital, while hinting at her name.
Taking to Instagram he made his own announcement along with some special photos from the milestone day.
He wrote in his caption, “Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
“In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.
“So excited to have started a family of my own.”
