Who is Ella Morgan Clark?

Ella Morgan Clark is a reality star from Weston-super-Mare.

Before finding fame, she worked as a former clinic consultant.

After shooting into the spotlight on Married At First Sight she has been snapped up to work as a model.

In 2024, Ella returned to her reality star TV roots to appear on Celebs Go Dating.

When was Ella Morgan Clark on Mafs?

Ella was Married At First Sight’s first transgender bride.

She appeared in season seven of the hit E4 show in 2013.

Speaking before going on the show, Ella said: “This experiment is so much more than just me getting married.

“I see this as a big deal for someone who has transitioned.”

During the experiment, she was matched with Nathaniel Valentino and the pair were wed.

However, the marriage did not work out with the pair arguing right from the off.

Ella then fell for another one of the grooms – JJ Slater.

Despite the pair having an initial steamy attraction things didn’t last and by the reunion show they had split up.

JJ is now dating former glamour model Katie Price.

When it was first announced that Ella was part of the MAFS 2023 line-up there was some speculation among fans that her future groom might not find out about her transition until after they tied the knot.

This is because the whole point of Mafs is that you don’t know anything about your partner before you are married.

But Ella has put those theories to rest and confirmed that her husband was informed the day before their wedding.

Speaking to , she explained: “Because it was the first time Channel 4 had ever done something like this, I agreed along with them that once they’d found me a match my husband was made aware that I was trans prior to the wedding.

“He was aware that I was trans and I had transitioned but he didn’t know anything else about me.”

A spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed to Newsbeat that Ella’s groom was told “to ensure fully informed consent,” and he was happy to go ahead with the wedding.

They added: “In all other ways, the integrity of the format was preserved.

“Our priority during matchmaking is to protect the wellbeing of the cast and create compatible matches, based on a detailed assessment of individual preferences, as part of an in-depth, careful matchmaking process.”

Ella also revealed how her castmates were supportive of her, throughout the experiment.

She said: “I thought ‘Oh God, I hope they like me, I hope they see me as me.’

“As much as I’m so proud to say I’m a trans woman, I don’t always feel like I want to be seen as just that, there’s so much more to me.”

Who has Ella Morgan Clark dated?

Since leaving MAFS, Ella has embraced her single life.

However, in May 2024 she was caught snogging EastEnders star Bobby Brazier at the Baftas.

A partygoer said: “Bobby and Ella were going for it, it was a proper snog and he went back a couple of times for more.

“They were sharing flirty banter and then they pulled each other to one side for a snog by the bar.

“Later, they had their arms wrapped around each other for another snog, too.”

Despite signing up to Celebs Go Dating, in August 2024, Ella revealed that she has a boyfriend called Alex.
