Married at First Sight UK 2023 LIVE — MAFS fans in shock as Brad slams Shona as ‘immature’ and ‘naive’
MARRIED At First Sight viewers are unconvinced that Brad Skelly and Shona Manderson will go from strength to strength.
Fans of the show are now less than impressed with Shona and Brad as Brad was exposed for branding Shona as 'immature' and 'naive' in a new clip.
Seen in a sneak peek of next week's episode, the pair have come to blows - and fans were quick to react, with one stating: "Brad will 100% break Shona’s heart 100%!!!!!"
A second penned: "We got to wait till Monday to see Shona and Brad crumble," and another agreed: "Yessssss at Shona and Brad falling apart after being insufferable for a week."
Last night, the couples faced their first commitment ceremony.

A Married at First Sight star has revealed they want to QUIT the show due to “manipulative and competitive castmates.”
Thomas Kriaras 37, who works in investment communications, has told The Sun that he almost walked in the first couple of weeks during filming.
In an exclusive interview, Thomas, who is married to Rosaline Darlington on the E4 show, revealed how he was shocked by some of the behaviour of his fellow bride and grooms.
“There definitely were points where I wanted to quit, I just thought ‘This is not for me,'” Thomas explains.
Who are the brides on this year’s MAFS UK?
The brides in this year’s Married At First Sight are:
- Ella who’s 29 and is a clinic consultant
- Jay who’s 31 and a sales manager
- Laura who’s 34 and a finance manager
- Peggy wh0’s 32 and a technology risk partner

Why did Peggy join MAFS?
Peggy opened up on why she decided to apply and go on Married At First Sight, saying: “I’m 32, I’ve always focused on my job, my career and my family. I had a really good job in tech risk, I’ve got an amazing family, a big Irish family, I’ve got friends and there’s just something missing in my life.
“I was working really long hours, like 12 hour days at home, in the office and whenever I did have time off, I’d spend it with my family.”
Peggy added how she didn’t really spend time dating, especially after the difficult heartbreak she went through.
“I was never dating, I tried to go out but not dating and I’ve had my heart broken. I was with him eight years and he cheated on me and I just thought, ‘I want a family’.
“My sister’s having kids, my brother’s having had kids and I’m the only one left. I thought I’ve got to look out for myself for once. Take the risk for a change,” she told The Mirror.
Brad slams Shona as immature and naive behind her back
In the next episode, cracks are starting to show.
The smitten pair seem to have their problems after playing a brutally honest game.
Is Paul Carrick Brunson married and does he have kids?
As well as forging a successful career, the relationship expert has also been lucky in love.
Paul is married to his wife Jill, who he wed in 2000.
The pair met while attending Old Dominion University in Virginia, USA. They have two sons together, Liam and Kingston – and Paul often takes to Instagram to share sweet snaps of the family together.
On his website, Paul says that his family’s “journey has been the greatest teacher in my life.” He added: “The lessons have come in moments of pain and pleasure.”
Do Married at First Sight couples sign prenups?
Prenups cannot be issued when taking part in MAFS.
This is because each couple’s marriage isn’t technically real.
They say vows, and exchange rings, but they aren’t really married.
If they decide to “stay married” they will then enter into a full time relationship.
The couple can then decide if they want to get married for real.
One MAFS pair who did this for real was Cam and Jules from the popular Aussie version of the show.

Married at First Sight is not on tonight and returns next Monday as usual.

In January 2021, The Sun revealed Jonathan was reportedly blocking the divorce and ‘refusing to let go’.
A source claimed it was a “nightmare” for Steph who just wants to move on, but they were still legally married. It’s not known if they did finally divorce.
Fans notice new grooms TV past
Mark Kiley is one of this series’ ‘intruders’ looking for love, but viewers have accused him of being in it for fame – as they noticed he’s already been on First Dates.
After watching his intro video, one person commented: “Someone else who has been on TV before then? Just instils the feeling that fame is the overwhelming desire, not love.”
A second said: “Another one on it just for fame.”
While a third commented: “Everyone already been on a tv dating show? Language of love or first dates …. Can’t this show find its own contestants?”

Married At First Sight producers are yet to reveal if their contestants are paid a salary.
However, Nasser Sultan, who appeared in season five of Married at First Sight Australia, revealed how much he got paid.
He told : “You get $150 for the day, that’s it.
“But on top of that, you have to pay expenses – your living expenses with the woman that you marry.”
He added: “It’s not $150 clear. You still have to pay rent if you’re renting, you’ve gotta pay your rego and it’s 12 hour filming days.”
As $150 is around £78, this could be what UK contestants are paid while filming.
So if the cast were to get paid for five days of work a week it would work out to them earning around £1580 a month.
Another previous MAFS contestant Clark Sherwood, has spoken out about the money situation, saying: “There’s no financial gain from going on the show”.

Fans left hoping for one couple
MAFS fans have been left hoping one couple can resolve their issues following the commitment ceremony.
Rozz and Thomas decided to stay in the experiment despite getting off to a rocky start.
One fan said: "I really thought they’d get on. Fingers crossed they can work this out."
A second added: "I really hope they do."
MAFS expert stopped in the street for relationship advice
Paul Brunson hosted the launch of the GUBA awards on Friday – an event celebrating historical heroes and heroines with the theme ‘Honouring Beacons of Excellence and Inspiration.’
During the ceremony, he revealed: “Members of the public will come up to me and often ask what they are doing wrong and I tell them, who says it’s something you’re doing. I’m always being stopped and asked for dating advice.”
It comes as Paul is a dating expert on MAFS along with Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling.
He’s also known for giving advice on Celebs Go Dating.

Married at First Sight couple Thomas and Rozz have left fans confused after making a shock relationship revelation.
Thursday night's episode of MAFS UK saw the couples face the first commitment ceremony.
When it was 's turn, she confessed that she didn't find her new husband attractive.
Despite this the couple revealed that they'd "consummated their marriage" the night before.
Thomas said: "We did consummate the marriage last night. But today I felt totally ignored, you haven’t even looked at me."

MAFS star brands husband 'broke' as relationship crumbles just two weeks into show
Married at First Sight's Proscha has branded her husband Terrence "broke" in the show's latest explosive row.
It comes after viewers of the E4 reality show witnessed the couple say their vows.
reported the newlyweds' romance was short lived shortly after they moved in together.
Groom, Terence revealed that Porscha had "cut up his clothes" and "smashed two of his designer watches" during a heated argument.
Terence allegedly caused the damage during a tense Commitment Ceremony in which he chose to leave the TV experiment.

A spokesperson for the show told : “Following the Australian format, rather than legal marriages, the couples will make a lifelong commitment to one another at a glamorous ceremony.
“This is overseen by a wedding celebrant, that includes guests, bridal gowns, dancing, speeches and cake.”
