MAFS star reveals he’s a dad and shares first pic and baby’s name after Olympic swimmer girlfriend gives birth
MARRIED At First Sight Australia star Ryan Gallagher has revealed he has become a dad for the first time.
The reality star, 34, announced on instagram that he has welcomed a son after his Olympic swimmer girlfriend Emily Seebohm gave birth.
He shared an adorable snap of the new arrival and revealed his adorable name.
Ryan wrote: “The last 10 days have have been the best of my life to date, Sampson Ryan Seebohm has changed our lives and we bloody love him he’s perfect.”
Emily, 30, and Ryan have enjoyed a whirlwind romance since meeting last summer filming the Australian version of reality TV series, The Challenge.
Ryan is best known to viewers in the UK from starring in Married At First Sight Australia back in 2018, although his series didn’t air on these shores until 2020.
He was famously married to bride Davina, who ended up having an affair with another groom, Dean.
The scandal pushed the series to record ratings both in Australia and in the UK.
Ryan left the experiment a single man after the affair was exposed on national television.
After his stint on MAFS, Ryan also starred in I’m A Celebrity Australia, where he enjoyed a brief romance with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.
Ryan popped the question to Emily back in December.
“I did get nervous,” he told Woman’s Day magazine of the proposal. “The (ring) box was making a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her.”
