It will launch with a two-episode premiere on November 8th, just in time for the run up to Christmas.

After the family manage to save Christmas, fans will watch as Scott tries to train his son Cal in the hope that one day he will take over.

The TV series is based on the box office hit movie franchise, which was first released back in 1994.

Fans have been left delighted the show is returning, and took to social media to share their excitement.

One said: "This is the only good reboot Disney+ has done."

A second wrote: "Yay I'm so excited. I have watched the films very Christmas since I was 3 and then I watched with my children the last 11 years and we loved the last season."
