I was humiliated after Married At First Sight cheating scandal – heartless new stars just have affairs to get famous
DESPITE having their “perfect partners” hand-picked by dating experts, it seems the stars of Married At First Sight can’t stop getting their heads turned.
Last week it was claimed that Ella Morgan Clark, 29, was the latest to cheat after sharing a “passionate kiss” with another groom.
A TV source told that she “didn’t want to hurt” hubby Nathanial Valentino, 36, but felt the mystery man “ticked more of her boxes”.
One person who knows the “humiliation” of being cheated on by their MAFS partner is 2021 star Robert 'Big Bob' Voysey, 29, whose wife Megan Wolfe snogged co-star Jordon Mundell.
He says it’s “no surprise” affairs continue to happen every year on the E4 show and believes many may be on it for the wrong reasons.
Bournemouth-based Bob tells us: “People who cheat on the show are not committed to the experiment. I believe most just want to become rich and famous.

"For them, when things get tough, it's easier to cheat and drop the person they are married to because they feel they haven't spent that much time with the person anyway.
“But to have your head turned so easily and write off your romance shows you do not give a s*** about the other person’s feelings and you just want the air time.
“I don’t think they're there to find love, they go on to cause trouble and get more followers and brand deals.”
Secret bust-up
Bob says he felt “utterly humiliated, degraded and unwanted” after discovering Megan had cheated on him with Jordon, who was married to Alexis Economou.

He tells us: “One of the worst things about the show is that it's broadcast not only on national TV but in other countries all around the world too.
“That means you are humiliated in front of millions and millions of people worldwide, who have all seen you being disrespected and treated like that.”
Megan and Jordon's kiss was disclosed the day after it happened during a commitment ceremony.
But Bob says he “had a feeling something wasn’t right” the night before it all came out and even confronted Jordon.
“We were all having a few drinks when Alexis came up and said Megan had been flirting with Jordon downstairs and was stroking his leg," he explained.
“I confronted him about it and said ‘Look, is there something going on? If there is, be a man and tell me,’ but he denied it and didn’t say anything.
“It got heated and a bit fiery. I ended up being pulled away by security, who took me outside. I knew something had happened because something wasn’t right.”
After the incident, Bob texted Megan to ask what had happened but claims he was told: “We’ll speak about it tomorrow.”
The couple spent the night apart and travelled to the commitment ceremony in different cars, which he says was to ensure the show "made sense for viewers".
Moments before filming began, Bob says Megan apologised and told him: “I’m sorry it’s going to come out like this.”
The disclosure left Bob in tears and he believes he was especially emotional due to being unable to chat to family and friends.
He tells us: “Your emotions are already so high because you have no one to talk to apart from the cast.
“I was gutted and devastated. Especially because I had spent so much energy trying to make things work and even to get onto the show in the first place - travelling to London, having interviews and Zoom calls.
“I just felt so disrespected, hurt, betrayed, and everything you can imagine really.”
'Resentment'
Ultimately Bob chose to forgive Megan but says he now regrets the decision as it led to him “resenting” his wife.
He says: “I didn’t want to get too angry and I bottled it all up because I wanted to make the experiment work.
“But it made me resent Megan quite a lot. I regret how I handled it all now because looking back it was never going to work.
“If it was in the real world I would have been like ‘No, go f*** yourself. What you’ve done is disgusting and it's going to take a long time to move past.’
"The day I came out of the experiment and saw my friends and family all of the angst and emotion left me.
"I couldn't believe I got myself so worked up over Megan. It was completely ridiculous."
At the third commitment ceremony in week 14, the couple voted to leave the experiment.
While Bob is on “good terms” with Megan and feels “no animosity” towards her, he says fans have been less forgiving.
He says: “When the episode aired, I had thousands of messages on Instagram and countless women saying ‘I would never do that to you, let me treat you right.’
“The outpour of support was incredible and even to this day I still get people coming up to me to say, ‘She treated you harshly’ and ‘What she did to you wasn’t nice.’
“I've forgiven Megan and we're ok now. Obviously, I wish I wasn’t cheated on on national TV but I’m glad I went on the show and believe MAFS did so much for me as a person.”
Bad intentions
Bob believes his relationship was doomed from the start because Megan "didn't know what she wanted" and had "never been in a serious relationship before".
He says: "I don’t know why you would marry someone when you have never had a serious relationship.
"I don’t think she was completely ready for it and I don't think she should have gone on."
Despite not finding love on the show, Bob still believes MAFS has "a lot to offer" singletons so long as they are "committed and not hungry for fame or money".
He says: “As the show continues to get bigger and bigger, the casting team will have a harder time trying to weed out the people who are only going on because they are fame-hungry.

“On our season people everyone actually wanted to find love and if brand deals came out of it after that was an added bonus.
"Now I think have my doubts about some of the cast's intentions for going onto the show and I think some just want to make money."
