Viewers know he is doing it to escape from ex Charity Dingle blowing the whistle on their illicit romp earlier this month.

But as Mackenzie demanded to know why she was interfering, Amy hit back: “I just told her how I feel and I’m sorry if that upsets you but…”

Mack said: “It’s not that it upsets me, I just don’t understand how you can’t see how much I care for her and Reuben.”

“I can, you proposing again properly,” Amy said. “That was good of you. So it’s not off the table then, you two moving…

“What I said was that I don’t see why you have to rush into anything unless there’s a reason. Is there?”

“Yeah. I want us to be happy,” Mack said trying to cover up the real reason.

But Amy said: “Only it’s pretty weird, you coming over to have a go at me if you don’t want to put any pressure on her.

“Because if you did mess her around again, this time I’d make you pay…”

And with Amy already having killed one man with Frank Clayton - fans are worried she may kill again.

One wrote: "Amy has the look of danger in her eyes."

A second said: "Oh no, Amy might do something again!"

Another added: "He better be careful, Amy doesn't play."
