ITV viewers are counting the days until Stephen's downfall plays out on their screens.
The serial killer played by Todd Boyce will have his last scenes in the Manchester-based drama at the end of Super Soap Week, on Friday, October 13, 2023.
In the meantime, Stephen is trying his best to avoid justice at all costs and is planning his exit from Weatherfield with Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) on his arm.
He most recently suggested they move away to Thailand but Tuesday's trip to the cobbles (October 3, 2023) left soap fans fearing the worst for the former pub landlady.

While staying in Rita Tanner's home, the couple discussed their time in Thailand, prompting Stephen to show his beloved a bar which he claimed was owned by one of his friends.
According to him, the venue is in need of a new manager and he maintained it would be useless for Jenny to look for a new job in the UK as they were planning to leave Corrie for good.
Unfortunately for him, Jenny disagreed and let Stephen know that a permanent move to Thailand was nothing but a pipedream.
She suggested a simple holiday would have to do before she can finally get her act together and find a new workplace.

While her comments were innocent, viewers of the Manchester-based soap remembered how dangerous Stephen really is.
Not only is he eager to leave the country, he is also just as keen to get his hands on Jenny's money.
This resulted in viewers working out a sinister twist for the fan favourite as they grow convinced she could be his next victim.
"Please don't let Stephen kill Jenny next week", one viewer begged on X, formerly known as Twitter, while another threatened: "If Stephen kills Jenny I will riot"
A third soap fan jumped in: "You're not going to Thailand at all, Jenny."
"Can’t Jenny see Stephen is trying to get her away from the street rather quickly?", another concluded.
