BIG Brother fans have raged after spotting a major change during tonight's ITV launch show.
The reality programme has historically kicked off with a live episode.
But for the first time in its 20 series history, the housemates have entered as part of a pre-recorded production.
While it went unnoticed by some, many fans fumed on X - formerly Twitter - as they took to their keyboards.
One wrote, "Why isn’t #BBUK live? Feels a bit disappointing," while a second added, "What a disappointment. Thought it was live. How rubbish."
A third agreed, "Kinda missing the live launch and the random facts they tell us when the housemates are walking in??"

Someone else wrote, "It's always live when they first go in, how rubbish is that so it's not live tonight then ?"
One more concluded, "Not to sound like a Debbie Downer already, but the main reason #bbuk launches were so exciting and iconic was because they were live. I want to see people like Mary the witch take about ten minutes to open the front door to the house."
New housemate Farida has already whipped up a storm online as her TV past has been revealed.
The make-up artist entered the house during ITV's launch show presented by AJ Odudu and Will Best.

Despite bosses insisting they banned influencers from the show and will instead look for normal people, it seems this housemate is no stranger to the world of showbiz.
The TV personality has already made a prominent appearance on the box as she recently took part in an episode of Blankety Blank.
Viewers took to social media on X - formerly known as Twitter - in their droves as they recognised her from the small screen.
One viewer wrote: "Farida was on Blankety Blank last week #BBUK."
Another claimed: "Is that Farida the same make up artist who was on Blankety Blank the other week?#BBUK."
"Farida does Make-Up on Tik Tok.....She was also on Blankety Blank Not Long Ago...#BBUK," commented a third.
Other contestants also included model Zak, DJ Dylan, dental nurse Chanelle, and full-time mum Trish.
The new presenters of Big Brother also paid tribute to the first host of the series on when it aired on Channel 4 in their script.
They repeatedly exclaimed the iconic viral line: "Fancy another one," made famous by Davina McCall, before various contestants entered the new 'vast' house.
