ULRIKA Jonsson has been left struggling to breathe and sleep after a terrible injury.

The former Gladiators presenter has broken and bruised a rib, and is struggling to deal with the pain.

Ulrika, 56, shared a tired selfie describing her health battle to her followers one sleepless night.

She wrote: "Turns out: broken/ bruised rib is also s**t for trying to sleep on (as well as breathing and generally trying to function). Not my first broken rib rodeo, I might add."

In the snap the brave mum was laying in bed wearing a grey vest top, and frowning for the camera.

The Celebs Go Dating star is no stranger to sleepless nights, as she previously told the Sun that she struggles with arthritis.

The condition causes her debilitating pain and can leave her feeling 'miserable'.

She shared: "The other night it flared up and I was lying there 3’o clock in the morning, this is so painful, it’s not every night but I would say I have pain every day, I’m so used to it as if it was a familiar pain.

"When you’re younger you associate arthritis with older people but you can get it at any age. There are plenty of young people with arthritis, probably not the sexiest condition to have.

"It’s really painful for me, I can’t imagine a pillow between my knees otherwise it would cause agony to my hips if I don’t."

Despite her health struggles, the mum-of-four still lives an active life and is on the lookout for love.

She recently revealed that she was mum-shamed on a date for having a 15-year-old son who still lives with her, which she hit out at online.
