Married At First Sight UK groom quits the show as wife DELETES social media after backlash
A MARRIED At First Sight bride has wiped her social media after her groom chose to leave the show.
DJ Terence, 40, refused to stay in the Married At First Sight experiment during an explosive commitment ceremony aired on E4 last night.
Fans had already criticised the show experts for pairing Terence and Porscha, 36, together due to their differing lifestyles.
Yet it was an explosive game of Spin The Bottle – which saw Porscha kiss a slew of her co-stars while Terence was absent – which put the final nail in the coffin for their love.
In the programme’s rules, if one of the partnership opts to stay in the experiment the couple must both stay, and work on their romance.
Yet despite Porscha vowing to give things another go Terence wouldn’t budge on his verdict – so in a sensational storm of bad feeling they quit.
Now the mum has deleted her page on X, formerly known as Twitter, following fan backlash.
One user remarked: “Porscha commented on my post before she deleted Twitter.”
The mum-of-one’s last messages were centred on the tell-all game, and saw her insisting she did not kiss any girls.
She also claimed some other wives were there without their husbands – something which has not been flagged on the show.
Another user on X wrote: “Thought she was a high standard classy woman kissing these 4 men when you don’t know where their mouth’s been all day…..bet her friends & family were cringing…. Good Terence stop the disrespect on national TV ASAP.”
The debate isn’t likely to go away, with the fallout continuing to play out.
Meanwhile we previously reported how Terence and Porscha had an explosive start to their marriage, resulting in Terence calling the police shortly after they moved in together.
The groom claimed she “cut up his clothes” and “smashed two of his designer watches” during a blazing row.
The damage was allegedly caused after a heated Commitment Ceremony in which Terence opted to leave the TV experiment.
MailOnline reported that Terence’s broken items were found in his shared flat, with the website claiming he had “no option” but to call the police.
Porscha was the only other person with access inside the property, but insiders say there was “no evidence” found as to who damaged the clothing.
The bride strongly denies claims she was ever quizzed by police.
Channel 4 replaced the groom’s shredded clothes as well as his Michael Kors and Hugo Boss watches.
Just last week, eagle-eyed fans speculated the pair had split following a telling comment from Terence.
The youth worker and DJ offered up his services on Instagram, suggesting that he could be booked for weddings, festivals and private parties.
Enjoying his new fame, he also said that he would bring along his MAFS co-stars, but he missed out a very vital person.
“It’s official my diary is back open so let’s get the bookings rolling,” he wrote in the caption.
“Brunches, Club Bookings, Festivals, Weddings, Private Parties, Concerts, Corporate Events the list goes on so enquire now!!!”
“And not only will you get myself but also I’ll be bringing a load of the #MafsUk crew with me,” he wrote before listing some of the cast members – but not Porscha.
Their romance hit the rocks early on in their relationship when devout Christian Porscha discovered Terence’s job.
The DJ admitted partying until the early hours in nightclubs, while Porscha has a strict 11pm bedtime.
