Last night it was confirmed that 40-year-old NHS manager Kerry and make-up artist Farida, 50, would battle it out to be kept in the Big Brother house.

The pair had already clashed with one another during this week's shopping task and they will now have to face off against each other to win the public's vote.

The show will treat viewers to an extra quarter of an hour as the presenters grill the first evicted contestant in a live interview.

The person with the lowest votes will be able to spill the beans from their time in the famous house.

And the added minutes will be welcomed as there is plenty of drama and tension to discuss - including the growing feud between Farida and Kerry, with either of the two facing the chop tonight.

On Thursday's instalment, presenter Will Best announced on Big Brother: Late & Live that the vote was open.

Olivia looked stunned, after she won immunity by passing her secret mission earlier in the week and housemates were prohibited from nominating her for eviction.

Viewers can vote up to five times on the new Big Brother app and the voting wil close in Friday's eviction show.

The evictee will then be interviewed by AJ and Will on Late & Live at 10pm.

There were cheers and gasps in the Live & Late studio when it was confirmed that Kerry and Farida would be up for the public vote.

Will turned to his guests to get their reactions, and Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens said: "Listen, Kerry had a breakdown over tofu, word spreads, and people can feel the tension. It's a shame though, they're the oldest in the house."
