Married At First Sight UK’s Luke Worley kicked off the show after punching co-star

MARRIED At First Sight star Luke Worley has been removed from the show by bosses after punching a co-star.

All hell is said to have broken loose on the hit reality programme and producers were left with no choice but to drop salesman Luke, 30, according to sources.

The bust-up involving Jordan Gayle has also brought the curtain down on Luke's wife Jay Howard's time on the show.

A show insider told : "Luke and Jordan struggled to get along from the moment they met, but no one was expecting them to clash like they eventually did.

"The cast attend a couples' retreat and during dinner things got particularly heated between them and later they come to blows inside Jordan's apartment.

"The fight was caught on camera, meaning there's every chance it could be shown in the most explosive scenes ever to be aired on Married At First Sight UK."

A Channel 4 Spokesperson said: “The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond. During filming, an altercation occurred between two cast members which was defused immediately by crew. All contributors involved were offered appropriate support.”

In a previous interview, Luke said he did some "controversial" things on the programme which he remained "proud" of, though he didn't explicitly mention his fight with Jordan.

Luke and sales team leader Jay, 31, were one of the most popular couples in the experiment, hitting it off from the moment they laid eyes on one another.

They were one of the first pairings to get physical after tying the knot and often bragged about their passionate relationship.

Jay, who was born with one arm, couldn't hide her delight at finding Luke after a lifetime of being bullied and made to feel like she wasn't worthy of experiencing a loving relationship.

The duo also didn't shy away from confrontation and were at the heart of heated dinner party scenes.

Earlier this month they clashed with Laura Jayne after Luke branded her a gold digger following comments she made at a commitment ceremony.

"I wanted to be able to correct a few things. the gold digger narrative is so f***ing lazy. That was disrespectful," said Laura.

Luke interjected: "You sat on the couch at the ceremony, what you asking for was a man with money who was going to look after you financially."

Laura then fumed: "I have never once in my life needed a man to pay for anything. It was f***ing painful to hear when I have actually been used in the past for that myself. I actually paid for my last wedding so if I am a gold digger then I am definitely doing it wrong."

Luke also launched into a fiery rant on social media after Porscha Pernnelle made claims about him following a game of spin the bottle.

Earlier in the series Brad Skelly was removed from the programme after showing signs of 'controlling and coercive' behaviour towards Shona Manderson.

He accused the show of being edited to make him the "villain" and has since started a relationship with Hollie Baldwin.
