MAFS bride Erica Roberts breaks her silence in cryptic post after husband Jordan Gayle is ‘punched’ by rival groom Luke

NEW Married At First Sight bride Erica Roberts has broken her silence after it was revealed her husband Jordan Gayle had been caught up in a 'punchgate' scandal.

The brunette beauty has made waves since she made her debut on the E4 programme.

Erica was matched with Jack Grealish lookalike Jordan Gayle by the experts on the show and so far their romance has been going exceptionally week.

Having been happy with each other since the wedding day, Erica has done her best to defend hers and Jordan's marriage amid doubts and concerns from her co-stars.

However, it seems the worst is yet to come for the pair after it was revealed that her hubby was punched by co-star Luke Worley as part of a shock outburst.

The incident led to Luke being axed from the programme altogether.

Now, Erica has broken her silence on the scandal for the first time as she uploaded a series of glam snaps to Instagram.

She appeared to address the furore with a cryptic caption.

Posting a cloud emoji that seemed to refer to the current 'storm' surrounding the show, she said: "Nothings ever that serious."

The stunner looked carefree in the pictures as she donned a full face of make-up as she enjoyed a few cocktails on her relaxed evening.

She wore a cropped suit jacket which saw her lace white bra poke through as she finished the look with a pair of light blue denim jeans.

Two cocktails sat atop the table in the swanky bar but Erica did not reveal who her companion was.

Her hubby previously spoke out on the incident as he said: "What's up guys, this is my response to what's been leaked today about me clashing with Luke.

"Now, there's a lot to say, there's a lot that goes down but you're going to see all the drama unfold in front of your eyes over the next couple of weeks on your TV screens.

"Stay tuned, because there's a lot to find out."

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Luke had been axed from the show as a result of his behaviour.

A show insider told : "Luke and Jordan struggled to get along from the moment they met, but no one was expecting them to clash like they eventually did.

"The cast attend a couples' retreat and during dinner things got particularly heated between them and later they come to blows inside Jordan's apartment.

"The fight was caught on camera, meaning there's every chance it could be shown in the most explosive scenes ever to be aired on Married At First Sight UK."
