EastEnders fans have taken to X(Twitter) and expressed their confusion at Theo's disappearance, with one asking: "Why have EastEnders not mentioned the Stacey/Theo thing for 2 weeks? It's like it never happened."

A second user queried: "#EastEnders had the really good Stacey/Theo week, ended it on a cliffhanger of Theo waking up and his statement not matching Stacey/Freddie's.

"And now none of them have been seen or mentioned in nearly two weeks? But yeah, let's listen to Keano/Ravi/Jay endlessly whinging instead."

While a third added: "Watching #EastEnders and wondering WHERE IS THEO?! Why has that storyline totally vanished?

"It was so brilliant, and now I'm forced to hate-watch Keanu and Jay (but I do love Priya)."

As a fourth quizzed: "I wonder how Theo is? #EastEnders."

The last time the twisted teacher was seen on screen, his obsession for Stacey had reached a new low.

Theo broke into her house, and attempted to rape her, after tormenting her for months.

Stacey has tried to go to the courts to get a stalking injunction against him, but it wasn't granted.

During the episode, Stacey delivered two heartfelt monologues while speaking to her granddaughter about good people getting hurt and how bad men who get away with doing bad things always try to ruin women's lives.

She said: "It's like whatever you do, they'll always win. The good ones always end up hurt."

It was then exposed that Theo was outside listening to her, and it was actually him pretending to be Graham Foster, Freddie's dad, who had messaged Freddie earlier in the episode.
