Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel stun fans with first look inside striking turret room after epic makeover
ESCAPE to the Chateau's Angel and Dick Strawbridge have left fans in awe after posting their rarely-seen turret room on social media.
The couple got nostalgic in a recent Instagram post where they took a trip down memory lane and reminisced about their TV days.
Angel and Dick have taken it all the way back to season one of Escape to the Chateau, as they shared a picture of the iconic 'Wallpaper Museum' displayed at their Home – the Château de La Motte Husson in France.
On their shared account, the TV stars gave their 476K followers a first look inside the striking turret room, which is rarely seen.
They penned in the caption: "The original Wallpaper Museum. During series one, Angel's trip to the attic with baby Dorothy led to an amazing discovery!
"Hidden away for decades, a collection of wallpaper offcuts, originally used at the Chateau, caught her eye and sparked her imagination!

"How could she reuse and recycle the beautiful, delicate designs and bring some of the Chateau's magic back to life…? The rest, as they say, is history."
Impressed fans swarmed the comment section to type down their reactions as they remembered the impressive transformation from season one.
One user said: "What she created with her wallpaper vision still amazes me! I know that was no easy application. Such a talented and sweet family!"
A second expressed: "I loved watching you create this project, especially down the stairs. Such a find, all that old wallpaper.

A third wrote: "This project was absolutely one of my favourites! So, so creative! You saved vintage wallpaper and decorated a room at the same time AND inspired a line of textiles. Well done, Angel!"
A fourth claimed: "My favourite room!!! I loved the show and how it looked before... you are so incredibly creative! I wish I had a fraction of your talent."
As a fifth followed: "Omg! I remember this episode, so much fun watching."
In 2015, Angel and Dick purchased the Chateau for £280,000 and starred on their own show broadcasted by Channel 4 from 2016 to 2022.
The couple and their children, Arthur and Dorothy, continue to live at the 19th-century French mansion.
In December, Angel and Dick appeared on Lorraine and revealed what it was like to shoot the heart-breaking last episode of Escape to the Chateau.
Angel explained: "We literally finished filming a week ago, and it was really emotional. My mum kept crying all the time and it was really happy emotion,"
Dick added: "Arthur was sobbing. It was really beautiful, there's not many times where you get all your family and friends together.
"When it's a happy moment like that, boy, it was a party. Joyful is the word [to describe it]."
Following their show's cancellation, the couple have continued renovating their home and have released several books.
