Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel return to the UK – and finally answer fans’ most burning question
ESCAPE to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel are back in the UK following their book launch tour.
The Strawbridge's have revealed whether the family has a future at the glamorous 19th-century French Chateau.
Escape to the Chateau star Dick Strawbridge has opened up on X(Twitter) about his family's future at their Château de la Motte-Husson, which they purchased in 2015.
Over the weekend, the father-of-two announced that the family had returned to the UK for their book launch of 'Forever Home' while answering anticipating fan questions about their future livelihood in their home.
Dick indicated in his tweet that the family had no plans to leave their luxurious home anytime soon.
He penned: "Well, we're back in the UK for a couple of days launching our new book … 'Forever Home'… maybe that answers the question 'do we still live in the chateau?'"

Last night, the Strawbridge's concluded their "exclusive and intimate" book tour at The London Barbican following a successful night at The Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday.
During the events, Dick and Angel gave fans an idea of what to be expected from their book launch.
The newsletter from their website read: "As well as celebrating our new book, there will be lots of fun, games for you to play, and prizes!" they wrote.
"We write a lot in the book about other people who have been part of our journey, and you will be hearing from them, too! There will also be readings from the two of us and little readings from the children, and in the final part of the night, you will have the opportunity to ask us questions!"
Attendees of launch were not left disappointed, as they took to Instagram to post their positive experiences.
The Escape to the Chateau stars re-posted the fan reactions they were tagged in on their joint Instagram account, with one user posting a picture of the clan and writing: "The best time watching these beautiful people launch their book."
Another posted a picture of The London Barbican stage before the stars graced it and wrote: "I've been so excited for this!"
While a third guest posted a picture of themselves with a copy of the new book and typed: "Fantastic evening."
Dick and Angel announced the book launch just months after they were reportedly axed by Channel 4.
The family will return to the UK in 2024 for another stage tour, Forever Home (avec le nitty gritty), which will begin in Angel's hometown Southend-On-Sea in October and end in Brighton in November.
The couple have described the upcoming show as "highly entertaining". After the UK show, the family plans to also tour in the US and Canada.
The family will fly to Los Angeles for the first night before travelling to Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, and finally, Toronto.
