THE Traitors Australia has been axed after just two series - leaving fans devastated.
The first series of the BBC show proved hugely popular in the UK when it aired earlier this year.
But it seems its Aussie counterpart hasn't had the same success, with Channel 10 deciding to axe the show after two seasons.
The Traitors Australia was hosted by actor Rodger Corser, and it premiered a month before the UK edition, which is fronted by Claudia Winkleman.
News.com.au reported claims the show suffered from low ratings, with the first series averaging 250,000 metro viewers per episode.
Meanwhile the second season's premiere drew 216,000 metro viewers according to online site B&T.

The news has left fans devastated, with one writing: "Baffling. The first series was so messy and iconic."
Another added: "What an evil world we live in."
A third simply wrote: "Well that is just rude."
The series - which was acquired by BBC Three in the UK - could return in the future according to show bosses, but there are no plans for a third series next year.

British fans of the show don't need to panic though, as a second series of the UK edition is in the works.
Mike Cotton - producer of The Traitors, previously shared some details about the highly anticipated second series.
Speaking to The Sun at the BAFTAs, Mike said: "It's going to be totally different for series two, like all good murder mysteries.
"Everybody knows how to play the game now. We'll have to turn it on it's head."
He added: "There are always twists and turns of the game. There will be new twists and turns, there is so much more we can do with it."
The Traitors Australia is available on BBC iPlayer alongside the UK and US versions.
