MARRIED At First Sight's Adrienne Naylor breaks down in tears and weeps after a showdown with Matt Pilmoor tonight.

Viewers were left fuming after the E4 series introduced intruder couple Adrienne, 27, and Matt, 29, three weeks into the process.

Things have been far from plain-sailing, though, with the project support officer breaking some bad news to her 'husband' in the next episode.

Having spent some time with Georges Berthonneau, 30, the grass seems to be looking greener.

Adrienne tells Matt, "At the minute, I feel like you really like me and I really like you but sometimes I feel like that's all we have.

"I definitely feel like the past couple of days with Georges has been very effortless

"I feel like that, to me, cemented the fact that we need to have more of a lighthearted experience.

"The one thing I said coming into this is that I wanted a best friend as well as a husband. I don't feel like we have that friendship side of it. There's not a lot of fun."

In a piece-to-camera, Matt fumes at her comments.

The Yorkshire-based bodybuilder says, "Did not expect this whatsoever. She wants me to be this extrovert that matches her 24/7, bouncing off the walls every day, and I'm like, 'How am I supposed to match that?'"

She bursts into tears in her own confessional, asking the cameraman, "Can I just have a minute?" while ducking out of view.

Tonight's scenes won't come as a surprise to fans as Adrienne hinted at her split from Matt just last week.

She married Matt on the show but was seen on a night out with Georges recently.

Adrienne pouted up a storm in a flirty photo on Instagram while Georges flashed a peace sign.

The Sun has since revealed Matt is dating his MAFS co-star Shona – who was married to Brad.

A source told us Shona was dating the window cleaner, saying: “They were chilling together in Starbucks and looked very relaxed in each other’s company.

“They even brought their pet dog along. They must have been together for a while because they were hardly dressed to impress.

“I’m a big fan of the show so I couldn’t believe it when they strolled in together because Matt’s only just joined the show.

“I’m really disappointed I saw them to be honest because there’s still a month or so to go – and now I know his marriage to Adrienne won’t last."
