Married at First Sight Fans urge bosses to step up to defend groom after he’s left in tears on the show
MARRIED at First Sight fans have urged bosses to step and defend a show star after he was reduced to tears.
Fans of the E4 dating series tuned in on Monday night as Georges and his 'wife' Peggy were on the rocks.
The pair have faced a number of challenges including problems with intimacy.
However, during the dramatic episode the 32-year-old announced she wanted to end her marriage and quit the show.
She said in front of the entire cast: "It’s really hard to say this. The girls are telling me one thing and I’m defending you because I feel like I know the real George but then do I know the real George cos he’s acting different in front of other people?
"Then, I feel like a fool. I actually don’t know who the real person is. I just don’t know what it will take to make you just be you and sometimes I just don’t think you are listening to me.

"I just think well, ‘What’s the point?’ so for that reason my decision is to leave. I can’t do it any longer. He needs to change."
But for French hunk Georges it became too emotional and he broke down in tears sobbing.
Viewers were left uncomfortable by the upsetting scenes and flooded social media with reaction.
They demanded that producers took action and for the dating experts to speak up.

One fan said: "I can’t believe, after what I thought of him at the wedding, that I feel sorry for this man … but I do."
A second wrote: "I really want to hear the experts explain themselves on this one. They're literally sitting there and enabling the same level of toxic gaslighting and abuse from Peggy, which made them remove Brad from the experiment. Why let her break him like this?"
"She's broken the poor man," said a third upset viewer.
While a fourth commented: "It’s emotional abuse. I can’t see how no one on the show is calling it for what it is. She’s broken him."
Married at First Sight continues on E4.
