Big Brother’s Tom revealed to have starred on another huge reality show – as fans slam his ‘secret link to ITV’
The high profile TV project also aired on ITV very recently
BIG Brother has been engulfed in another fan row as it has been revealed that one particular housemate may be a familiar face.
On the surface, 21-year-old Tom from Somerset seems like a normal guy, with a humble job as a butcher.
However, eagle eyed fans of the social experiment have recognised the personality from another TV programme.
As it turns out, he previously appeared on Kavos Weekender, which is also another ITV2 show.
A TV fan account retweeted: “Colour me shocked – the most dull housemate this year once featured on the most dull reality TV show, Kavos Weekender.
“And apparently the only thing he went on about was his mullet 🥴.”
The commentator added: “Maybe casting could do a little bit better next year #BBUK.”
Big Brother fans immediately took to X – formerly known as Twitter – in droves as they expressed utter outrage at the revelation.
One fan fumed: “That’s both Tom & Farida who’ve been on other shows 🤷🏼♂️🙃.”
A second user noted: “I’m sorry, but that is absolutely outrageous!”
“I remember when #BBUK went on a promotional campaign saying that they would get housemates that were “normal” and haven’t been on TV before. But all we’ve discovered is that most of them have been on tv before,” commented a third.
A fourth Big Brother fan remarked: “I’ll never understand when genuine people apply and audition through the normal means, why do casting teams reach out to “influencers” “models” or people who have been on TV before, it’s so odd…I auditioned years ago and didn’t get past the first round and I’d have been a hoot
A fifth user stated: “Seems to me like majority of the housemates has been on TV before.”
And a sixth viewer added: “Thats p***** me off. What happened to being every day people. Every day people haven’t already been a cast member of a reality TV series.”
Kavos Weekender is another reality show that aired on ITV in 2023 as part of the wider Ibiza Weekender and Magaluf Weekender series that first made its debut in 2013.
The show was originally set at the Lively Hotel in Magaluf and then relocated to Ibiza before eventually moving to Morfeas Hotel in Kavos for the tenth series.
The show follows two sets of young friends as they embark on fun filled – and sometimes raunchy – holidays over the summer season.
