Gogglebox favourites look unrecognisable as they party with Maya Jama at her star-studded Halloween bash

GOGGLEBOX stars Marcus Luther and Mica Ven insisted they weren’t denied entry to Maya Jama’s Halloween party – after they joked about doing the “walk of shame” back to their car.

The Love Island presenter hosted an epic spooky bash last night – and the likes of Amelia Dimoldenberg, Jade Thirlwall and Paloma Faith were in attendance.

Marcus and Mica – who starred on Gogglebox between 2018 and 2022 – were also on the guest list.

The pair dressed up as gladiators, and joked about struggling to get in because they were in fancy dress.

Mica and Marcus donned Roman style dress with faux leather armour and shields.

Mica confessed on Instagram: “Can you imagine being invited to a fancy-dress party and not getting in because you’re late and having to do the walk of shame back to your car? @mayajama Cling Cling.”

In another video the reality star said: “Do you know how embarrassing it is to get out on the street in costume?

“It’s really embarrassing.”

Talking about his costume, Marcus added: “I’m vexed, Oi Maya, man’s doing this for you.”

Despite the mix up Mica and Marcus eventually were allowed in to the party.

Sharing a selfie with Maya, Mica said: “We made it in!”

Maya looked incredible dressed up as X-Men’s Storm for her celebrity Halloween party.

But there was one person who was not in attendance – boyfriend Stormzy.

The rapper snubbed the bash after their blazing public row.

An insider said: “Maya showed up to her party without Stormzy. No one was openly talking about it but people were wondering where he was.

“Everyone was hoping he would be there now they are back together but it didn’t stop it from being a brilliant night.

“Maya was the host with the most – chatting to everyone, dancing with her pals and being the life and soul of the party as per usual.

“Her row with Stormzy was clearly a thing of the past and her closest friends made sure she had a perfect party.”
