Naga, 41, took to the airwaves on BBC Breakfast alongside her usual co-host Charlie Stayt, 61.

News topics on the show included the latest on the Israel / Hamas war and of course various reports on the effects of the storm.

However, as Naga was delivering her various links to camera, viewers couldn't help but notice something was a bit awry.

As the host steered the show to Carol Kirkwood, 61, for the latest updates, fans of the publicly funded corporation noted the strange pronunciation of the name of the storm.

Early in the show Naga said: "It's 16 minutes past seven, Carol's taking a look at the weather.

"Carol, so important today to kind of get a really good idea of how Storm Ciaron is affecting various parts particularly in the south of the country."

She made the seeming mistake at several points in the show, which lasts for more than three hours.

Viewers took to X - formerly known as Twitter - and it's fair to say the reaction was mixed to her apparent mispronunciation blunder.
