I’M A Celeb star Josie Gibson has hinted at jungle drama after confessing that she hates ‘selfish’ stars with ‘big egos’ ahead of her dramatic show entrance with Nigel Farage.
The This Morning favourite has already headed Down Under to take part in the upcoming series of the ITV show.
Josie will be joined by the likes of Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, Britney Spears‘ sister Jamie Lynn and JLS legend Marvin Humes.
The telly star will be missed by her This Morning co-stars Alison Hammond and Craig Doyle spoke to Sian Welby about her upcoming stint in the jungle on the ITV show earlier today.
This Morning also aired a clip of Josie speaking about what viewers can expect on the show.
Josie said: “I am quite known for taking on a challenge on This Morning…
“I don’t like to say ‘no’, but I think I might have gone a bit too far with this one.”
She continued: “I love people so I’m alright about sharing a camp with loads of other celebrities.
“If somebody has got a big ego that would rub me up the wrong way. I can’t stand people that are too selfish. You’ve gotta care more!”
Sian also teased what Josie’s first task will be – and who she is doing it with.
She told Alison and Craig: “It’s all a little bit of speculation, but I have heard that Josie has her first challenge with Nigel and YouTuber Nella Rose.
“What I’ve heard is that they’ve been spotted like 2000 miles from the camp. This is a never-before-seen challenge. It’s totally differnet.
“They’re in the dessert, almost, it’s 40 degree heat!”
Earlier on in the show Alison Hammond revealed that she told Josie to ‘smuggle in’ a burner phone into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Speaking about Josie being part of the cast, Alison said: “It’s actually made me emotional because I speak to Josie nearly every single day… I can’t speak to her!”
Craig then mentioned that the star’s phones get taken off them as soon as they arrive in Australia.
Alison told him: “Though I did tell her, take a little dead one.”
Craig asked if she meant a burner phone and Alison confessed: “I don’t think she did it though.”
It comes after fans have been left worried for Josie after spotting a critical error in her jungle intro.
The star confessed that she’s scared of insects – which viewers think could mean she’ll have a challenge with them in.
One said: “Never say you are scared of spiders – they be leashing them at you all season.”
“You should never have said,” another chimed in.
