I'M A Celeb returned tonight with fans spotting a change to its usual format minutes into the first episode.
As well as being treated to an extra-long opener for the arrival of the the 2023 line-up Ant and Dec introduced a new terrifying location to viewers.

Three stars were dropped into the Australian outback for the first time ever - instead of arriving in Brisbane on speed boats with champagne and treats.
Ant told viewers: "In case you're not familiar it's a barren, deeply hostile, environment that's barely fit for humans."
Dec added: "Imagine Sunderland, but hotter."
The trio on screen were former politician Nigel Farage and This Morning host Josie Gibson who were seen wondering in the middle of nowhere.

Josie finally crossed paths with Nigel, and said: "I've never been so terrified."
They soon bumped into social media star Nella Rose at an abandoned camper van.
The celebs then received a phone call from Ant and Dec who introduced them to their first challenge - to win 'time' for their fellow celebs who were set to 'walk the plank' back in Brisbane.
In a first look at Nigel in action, the former MEP (member of the European parliament) teams up with TikTok star Nella Rose and Josie Gibson.

The trio were tasked with searching through barrels of disgusting-looking gunge and it's not long before they were forced to immerse themselves in it - with Nella screaming her head off.
Nigel was definitely put through his paces during the trial and covered in mud, no doubt to the delight of the thousands of people who have already complained to Ofcom about him being on the show.
Viewers loved the show's opening scenes and took to X, formerly Twitter.
One said: "As beautiful as the outback is it totally gives off EVERY horror film known to man vibes."
Another said: "Taking inspiration from the Inbetweeners movie I see (Australian outback scene!)"
And one more tweeted: "nigel farage speeding through the outback in a s**t jeep with josie gibson and nella rose is not what i thought i’d be watching tonight."
