THIS year has one of the most anticipated launches of I'm A Celebrity ever in the show's history.

Ant and Dec once again preside over another launch episode as the likes of Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson and Marvin Humes make their way into the camp.

Before I'm A Celebrity officially returns to ITV screens, viewers have already gotten a taste of the jungle action as the stars faced their first trials.

Nigel, 59, is among the new bunch of campmates who will move into the I'm A Celeb jungle and he's already been covered in gunk.

In the first look, fans of the show can see the former Ukip politician in action, as he teams up with TikTok star Nella Rose and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.

The trio soon learn that they are desperately needed by their fellow celebrities who are 2000 miles away back on the Gold Coast.

They were soon challenged with searching through barrels of disgusting-looking gunge to win time for their fellow camp mates to complete their other trials,

It's not long before they're forced to immerse themselves in scary hell holes in a bid to score tokens for their fellow stars.

In the preview, Josie certainly gave it her all as she stuck her head and shoulders into a oil barrel full of sticky gunk.

There were fears that the broadcaster would not face Bushtucker Trials after he admitted he's exempt from certain challenges on medical grounds.

Speaking to The Sun, Nigel said: "Well, anything involving weightlifting, I'd be out because I've obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else.

"So they are fully aware that I'm a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure.

"But having said that, I can still do most things."

Meanwhile things were not easy for TV presenter Marvin Humes, Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard and Britney's sister Jamie Lynn Spears either.

The star names were split into groups to face different terrifying challenges, and unfortunately for Marvin and his group, it involved the infamous skydive.

He already confessed his fear of heights and he looks absolutely terrified as he's strapped to his skydiving instructor.

However, things don't stop once they landed back on the ground as the trio find they’re heading straight into The Temple Of Doom Trial.

In another preview posted onto the show's official YouTube account, Marvin and Jamie Lynn were strapped down and covered in critters.

They had to solve word riddles as Nick had to attempt to catch stars with his mouth below a huge tarantula figure.
