George Shuttleworth discovers Liam Connor’s bullying ordeal as it takes a worrying turn in Coronation Street
LIAM Connor has been targeted and tormented by Weatherfield bully Mason Radcliffe.
Next week, he finally finds help in Coronation Street as George Shuttleworth finds out about his ordeal.
Mason Radcliffe (played by Luca Toolan) made his debut in the ITV soap earlier this year and, in two months, he has managed to torment plenty of characters.
These mostly include Dylan Wilson, whom he gets to do his dirty work, and Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
In recent weeks, Liam has been relentlessly tormented and frightened by Mason and his gang.
His parents, Maria Connor and Gary Windass (Samia Longchambon and Mikey North) have tried to support him through the distress, though Mason's behaviour is slowly causing more trouble throughout the cobbles.

However, next week, Liam finally catches the eye of another resident as his bullying ordeal takes another worrying turn.
George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) can see Liam is being bullied at school and becomes concerned for him.
He tries to get him to open up by talking about his own experiences but the undertaker goes a step further and shares his concerns with Gary.
Will it be enough to help Liam?

What will Gary and Maria do to stop Mason from bullying their son?
George himself has been bullied during his younger years as viewers of the Manchester-based soap found out last year.
In early 2022, Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) became romantically involved with a man named Frank.
Once he'd introduced his beau to his close ones in the Rovers, all were shocked to find out that both Frank and George went to the same school together.
But the plot thickened fr George when it was later revealed that Frank wasn't just an ex-classmate, he had also been his bully.
Unable to keep the truth to himself, George confided in his partner Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) and she convinced Frank to apologise to him.

Frank obliged, assuring him he regretted his past actions but while it seemed like he was a changed man, his poor behaviour with Dylan led to Sean dumping him altogether.
The former bully left the cobbles but while he is long gone, he is clearly not forgotten as George is due to speak about what he's put him through during their time in school.
