NIGEL Farage and Nella Rose clashed again in the I'm A Celeb jungle after the camp stars mimicked a Jamaican accent.

The former Ukip leader fumbled his way through a discussion about cultural appropriation and was branded "insensitive" by some fans.

It came after American actress Jamie Lynn Spears wanted to know why her co-stars were saying "water" with a Patois twang, and pronouncing it "wasa", as she asked: "Is that like a joke or something?"

Nella, 26, held her tongue when Nigel waded in first, and said that he didn't believe cultural appropriation was wrong.

He claimed: "They criticise, when suits. If a white person does a black accent, it's a crime."

"What do you mean, Nigel?" Nella said.

He continued: "You know, when someone goes to a fancy dress party ... it's cultural appropriation."

And Nella responded: "Like what, if you was to do black face, then it is wrong."

Nigel said he was referring to a person "dressing up as a Mexican".

To which Nella hit back: "You can't use someone's culture as a fancy dress, the Mexican outfit is tradition to them.

"That's why in America they don't dress up as native Americans because it's not a joke."

Nella was still fuming later on and she told the Bush Telegraph: "Nigel's just going to be Nigel at the end of the day, I'm not going to listen to any of his opinions about race."

"It's the delusion that confuses me. It's the ignorance of like, not caring about other cultures ...

"When Nigel was speaking I was just so disappointed in him because we were getting on so well."

Viewers took sides on X, formerly Twitter, and one agreed with Nella, writing: "Nella is 100% right in this situation."

Another said: "NIgel is so insensitive."

One more argued: "I don’t get how people are annoyed and calling Nella rude over a conversation that NIGEL started, about race as well!"

However, another remarked: "Nigel is right. Too many people being offended!"

Last week, Nella confronted Nigel over his political views.

She said: “Let’s get everything out in the open. All the tea is coming out now… apparently you’re anti-immigrants?”

The surprised Brexiteer asked: “Who told you that?”

Nella said: “The internet.”

It comes as Farage's political allies reportedly believe that ITV is playing "insane dirty tricks" against him - and that producers have deliberately cut down his airtime.

Aides have reportedly sent a letter complaining that ITV broke its contract with Farage by showing him naked.

One friend told the : "We are watching very closely. Something is not right. Is there a bigger game afoot?"

Former UKIP and Brexit Party chief Farage signed up for the jungle in a deal reportedly worth up to £1million.

I'm A Celeb scored a bumper 10.2million viewers for its launch episode, new data has revealed.
