Real reason Jamie Lynn Spears quit I’m A Celeb after DAYS of crisis talks with bosses
FRAGILE Jamie Lynn Spears has finally left I’m A Celebrity - after plotting her exit from the show with bosses for DAYS.
The actress, sister to pop superstar Britney, crumbled in camp from day one over the agony of missing her children but last night was confirmed to have walked on “medical grounds”.
The Sun told last week how I'm a Celebrity crew were on “high alert” and that Jamie Lynn, 32, was a considered a flight risk.
But we can now reveal that Jamie has been in exit talks with execs for days, with a number of high-level discussions involving ITV’s logistic teams and her own management behind the scenes.
ITV bosses were able to support Jamie Lynn through 11 days on the show, as success in the Climb of Cruelty and Scarena Series buoyed her and delayed the inevitable.
But ultimately she blasted: “I hate it here so much, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here.

“This place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives.”
Confirming the news yesterday, a show spokesperson said: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
“She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”
Jamie Lynn left camp in the early hours of Wednesday evening in Australia.
ITV last night confirmed to The Sun there are no plans to draft in replacement celebrities despite losing Jamie Lynn and Grace Dent in a matter of days.
A source said: “Jamie Lynn was a flight risk from day one and while she experienced some highs, excelling in trials and forming special bonds in camp, ultimately she couldn’t get past the lows.
“Talks with logistical teams have been underway for days now, with an exit as early as Saturday mooted, then pushed back, after Jamie had a good day or so.
“But it proved too much and after Grace left the writing was on the wall for Jamie - it would mean she wasn’t the first one out.”
Jamie Lynn’s final chapter began when she spiralled over a piece of chocolate.
She ranted: “Dear God please help me to make it. I think I’ve got to leave, I think I’ve got to leave.”
In Tuesday night’s show, Sam Thompson tried to rally her and joked she wouldn’t leave and had become known as the “girl who cried wolf”.
She hit back: “I’m not the girl who cried wolf, I’m speaking honestly about my emotions.
“I’m not crying wolf, I mean it every single time I say I want to leave.”
Last week she told Danielle Harold: “I don’t know how I’m so emotionally weak.. Why am I crying so much?”
Jamie Lynn is mum to two daughters, Maddie, 15, and Ivey, five.
She has form for taking an early cut when the going gets tough, having left the US version of SAS: Who Dares Wins just two days in.
Leaving the show, called Special Forces, earlier this year after 48 hours, Jamie Lynn confided in Spice Girl Melanie B.
She told the Spice Girl: “Like, I just can’t do it one more night. I can’t do it.
“I miss my children when I’m away from them for a couple of hours. So this is a very big leap for me.

“Not only do I love them and want to be with them, but being away from them like this, even if it’s something for myself, makes me feel like a c**p mum.
“They didn’t ask for their mom to be gone. My babies.”
