Josie had been taking part in Barbaric Barbershop alongside campmates Fred Sirieix, Marvin Humes and Danielle Harold.

But with tears in her eyes, the trembling star yelled to escape the trial as spiders surrounded her head in a giant glass bowl.

Josie shouted: “F***, f***, get me out!”

She then burst into tears and was shaking as Ant and Dec cuddled her.

Prior to doing the task, Josie had admitted: “I’ve got a serious phobia of spiders.

“I’m the only idiot in the world who would sign up to I’m A Celebrity with proper phobias.”

Barbaric Barbershop saw each of the four celebrities sitting in chairs with their heads in individual bowls.

They had to use their tongues to unscrew broken pieces of stars before using them as puzzle pieces to form complete stars in their armrests.

But they were warned that the pieces in their bowls might belong to their campmates’ puzzles, so they would have to pass them back and fourth.

In 10 minutes, the remaining trio only managed to get four out of 10 stars for dinner.

Josie told Ant and Dec once the trial was over: “I’m petrified of spiders. I was hoping I was going to get rid of that fear.

“I have got to get over this but you just can’t help it. If you’re frightened of something…. yeah.”

Upon returning to camp, Josie told Nella Rose she was “embarrassed” for pulling out of the trial.
