I’m A Celeb star Nigel Farage’s girlfriend Laure Ferrari breaks silence on his jungle stint – and backs him to win
NIGEL Farage’s secret girlfriend has spoken out for the first time as she backs her man to become King of the Jungle.
Laure Ferrari, 44, has been dating the Brexiteer for six years but will now fly to Australia to support him, saying: “I really believe Nigel can win.
He will be a good campmate. He is extremely tolerant of people's little ways, and that will gain him support from the public.”
The Sun revealed last week how Laure was ready to take their union public and was confirmed as part of Nigel’s friends and family list.
Now, she has told the Mail: “'I see it as my duty to support him.
“When he was invited on to I'm A Celebrity, we talked about it. I saw it as a massive opportunity for him to shine.
“He was more thoughtful about it. He consulted his family and friends. It was a team effort that got him to appear.”

The politician has kept busy in the jungle sharing his views on everything from immigration and Brexit through to cultural appropriation, throuples and even bathing in the nude.
Laure commented: “Nigel has a great bottom, what's wrong with that? If you've got it, flaunt it!
“I was first attracted to Nigel's values as a man. He has loyalty, empathy and never breaks his promises. I find that very attractive.
“I think the show is giving viewers the opportunity to see the Nigel that I, his family and friends, know and love.”
Finally, on rumours that the ex-UKIP boss might launch a return to politics on the back of the show, she added: “I would say that what is happening in this country is sad and worrying.

"There is only one person that can do the job (of leading the country). So if he chose to go into politics again, he would have my support.”
When Laure was first pictured in February 2017 at Farage’s £4 million Georgian home, he dismissed the idea of a relationship as “crackers” as he had just announced the separation from his wife of 18 years, Kirsten.
Laure, who is 15 years Farage's junior, met the politician ten years earlier in 2007 when she was 28 and working as a waitress in Strasbourg.
He then appointed her as a parliamentary assistant and from there she was made PR director of Farage's parliamentary group Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy.
In 2017 she headed up a Eurosceptic think tank which was accused of illegally diverting £400,000 of public money to UKIP - before the UK General Election and Brexit referendum.
Amid these accusations, the pair were seen enjoying a drink at a London pub together.
Farage has continually denied claims of a romantic relationship, telling one newspaper: “She is someone I have worked with and known for a long time who wanted somewhere to stay for a week that wouldn't cost her any money.
“It's a working relationship. You can inflate it however you want to.
But some months later in June, grainy footage showed the Brexiteer slow dancing with Laure at a party to celebrate the one year anniversary of the historic Leave vote.
At the time an onlooker told The Sun: “There was no question that they were a couple. Laure was putting on quite a display.

“She seemed to twerk a bit and was all over Nigel. From the look on his face, he was loving every minute.”
Despite sharing his thoughts on immigration, Brexit, Boris Johnson and even throuples in the jungle, Nigel’s personal life has so far been off limits.
