Terrified Holly Willoughby ‘pauses’ £1million Marks and Spencer deal amid ‘kidnap plot’

The TV star hasn't been seen since quitting her job on This Morning in October

HOLLY Willoughby has told Marks & Spencer bosses she needs time off following her terrifying 'kidnap plot'.

The TV star's £1million deal has been paused as she continues to keep out of the limelight.

Holly would normally have been involved in a Christmas campaign with the high street brand, but the reports "the trauma she is said to have been suffering has left her unable to consider such work".

Her seven-figure contract with L'Oreal has also been frozen.

A source close to Holly told the publication: "Holly is still absolutely traumatised and her priority is her family right now.

"She decided to take time away from the limelight for a while and just concentrate on dealing with the situation. It has been very sad for her and everyone around her and she is dealing with it in the best way she can.

"So with that in mind, she just wants time with her family to heal."

Holly, 42, confirmed she was leaving This Morning in October after a man was charged over an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her.

The mum of three has since kept a low profile and has yet to confirm her intentions on her other work with ITV.

Bosses have no idea if she will return to host Dancing On Ice in January.

Last month security guard Gavin Plumb, 36, denied plotting to kidnap and murder Holly Willoughby.

He is accused of being part of an alleged plan to snatch the TV star.

A provisional trial date was set for June 24 next year.
