It sees Jennifer Gardner and Ed Helms swap bodies with their on-screen children.

The married couple become their children after wishing they could all live a day in each other’s lives.

So far the Christmas comedy is the most-watched title on Netflix since its release.

However, some viewers have been left disgusted after watching an incestuous scene.

While pretending everything is normal to the outside world, the two children are forced to kiss at a gathering whilst in their parents’ bodies.

It comes as one of their mother’s friends had detected no chemistry between what she thought was the married couple.

Actress Emma Myers could the be heard telling her on-screen brother Brady Noon: “I think we have to kiss.”

But Family Switch fans have described the scene as “unnecessary” in an online rant.

Writing on social media, one viewer said: “Ok making them kiss knowing they’re siblings is gross af… they could’ve done a cheek kiss or something… that was weird af.”

A second posted: “The random incest in Family Switch caught me so off guard.”

“I’m watching that new movie called Family Switch and oh my lord the sudden incest is smth that was so unexpected and unnecessary,” commented a third viewer.

While a four said: “Netflix’s movie Family Switch has implied incest. How did that advance the plot? And why would you put this in a holiday movie marketed as family friendly?”
